When to Apply
Spray every 15-20 days during the cool hours of the day (early morning or late evening).
Step-by-Step Application Guide
Dilution
Mix 1-1.5 liters of Vermi Wash concentrate with 15 liters of clean water.
Timing
Choose early morning or late evening for spraying to avoid leaf burn.
Foliar Mist
Spray a fine mist over the entire foliage, focusing on the undersides of leaves.
Soil Dosing
Apply any remaining mixture at the base of the plant for root health.
Maintenance
Maintain a regular 15-20 day spray cycle for continuous organic protection.
Protection from disease
Applying Vermi Wash as a foliar spray provides a liquid microbial shield that prevents the spread of anthracnose, canker, and powdery mildew. It strengthens the fruit's skin and improves the plant's overall defense mechanism.
Preventing Mildew and Wilt
Watermelons are notoriously sensitive to leaf mildew and sudden wilt. The natural antibiotics present in pure Vermiwash create a protective organic film over the broad leaves, suppressing fungal growth. The result is vines that stay green for weeks longer, yielding much sweeter, heavier melons.
Safe for Ground Ecology
Because watermelons rest directly on the soil or mulch, harsh chemical sprays contaminate the immediate soil surface and kill beneficial bacteria. Vermiwash is entirely organic and only improves soil health.
Retail Premium Pricing
By keeping the vines green through the entire fruit-swelling phase, the final watermelon develops a thick, dark, pristine rind and deep sugar content, highly prized by premium fruit vendors.
