Application Rates
Mix 1 Liter of Vermiwash per 15 Liters of water. Due to the large surface area of turmeric leaves, you will need approximately 12-15 tanks to heavily drench 1 Bigha of crop.
When to Apply
Spray every 15-20 days during the cool hours of the day (early morning or late evening).
Step-by-Step Application Guide
Dilution
Mix 1-1.5 liters of Vermi Wash concentrate with 15 liters of clean water.
Timing
Choose early morning or late evening for spraying to avoid leaf burn.
Foliar Mist
Spray a fine mist over the entire foliage, focusing on the undersides of leaves.
Soil Dosing
Apply any remaining mixture at the base of the plant for root health.
Maintenance
Maintain a regular 15-20 day spray cycle for continuous organic protection.
Protection from disease
Vermi Wash triggers the synthesis of defense-related proteins within the spice plants. Foliar application is highly effective against powdery mildew and protects the delicate flowers and seeds from fungal infections.
Massive Curcumin Production
Turmeric relies on massive, healthy green leaves to pump sugar and curcumin down into the underground rhizome block. Chemical sprays often scorch the leaf tips. Vermiwash supplies easily absorbed zinc and magnesium directly through the leaf stomata, keeping the plant roaring with energy for months.
Saving Underground Ecology
Chemical fungicides poured over the soil destroy the very microbes turmeric needs to grow. Vermiwash contains natural biological anti-fungal enzymes that specifically target rot pathogens without harming earthworms.
Pharmaceutical Returns
Turmeric grown without toxic fungicides is highly sought after by Ayurvedic medicine manufacturers who demand pure, unadulterated roots.
